Douro Valley: A Half-Day Escape into Wine and Traditions

6 hours

Easy

In this intimate experience, you’ll have the chance to explore the breathtaking Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

We’ll take our time, no rush, no pressure. Instead of a typical day tour, we’ll embrace the same route but in just half a day, savoring every moment. We’ll pass through the valley’s most iconic spots, stopping at viewpoints that take your breath away, and enjoy the scenic drive along the legendary National 222.

With the time we have, we’ll visit a boutique winery nestled in the valley, where you’ll not only taste their exceptional wines but also savor homemade bread, olives, olive oil, and so much more—each bite and sip a reflection of the land itself.

On our way back to Porto, we’ll make a brief stop in Amarante, the heart of Green Wine, where we’ll wander past the charming Roman bridge and, of course, enjoy a glass of this local specialty. It’s not just a tour; it’s an invitation to experience the Douro Valley as if it’s your own personal secret.
