This is an unforgettable journey to the unparalleled Douro Valley region with the astonishing terraces that were carved in the mountain to produce the Port Wine.
Visit the unparalleled Douro Valley, the first-denominated wine region in the world and a world heritage site by UNESCO.
Start at the meeting point in Porto and embark on a scenic drive around the valley. Make a short stop at a viewpoint, and then we will have our first stop in Pinhão for a mini-cruise in a typical boat along the astonishing Douro Valley with all the scenic views of the Porto Wine vineyards, terraces, and wineries as a background.
The journey will continue through National 222, a road with more stunning views. Stop at a local winery for a traditional Portuguese lunch and to learn more about the region's famous Port wine and try the winery wines paired with the lunch.
Finally, we will return to Porto in the late afternoon (Around 4:00 PM)
