In this experience, you will visit the unparalleled DOURO VALLEY, the first-denominated wine region in the world and a world heritage site by UNESCO.

The day starts at our meeting point, and we will head to the Valley.

For the drive we will do a loop around the valley to better see and enjoy all the different landscapes, first driving through the N323 with all the astonishing viewpoints of the valley and where we have the first stop, a small winery from a local producer to try his regular wines (reds and whites from the region), olive oil, and other products produced with olives and everything paired with local bread, jelly, cheeses, and hams.

The second stop is at Pinhão for a typical Portuguese lunch at a local tavern with great options for Vegans and Vegetarians.

Still, in Pinhão, we have a 1-hour mini-cruise in a typical Rabelo boat along the astonishing Douro River with the Valley as a background view (the boat cruise is shared with other groups).

The journey will continue through the National Road 222, one of the most iconic roads in Portugal, winner of the "World's Best Driving Road Award", which will take us to the second winery for more tasting, parings, and story tales from the wineries owners.

After that, we will return to Porto and arrive at Porto at around 6:00 PM.
